We offer a range of services for children and families including assessment, intervention, programme planning, short term consultation and web based services in the following areas:

Services for Families

Services
 Introduction - 10 to 15 minutes
  • We welcome enquiries by email, phone or video call, free of charge and with no obligation to book further appointments.

  • You can chat informally about your child, ask any questions, find out more about our practice, and discuss what to expect during our sessions. 

 

Client Intake 
  • Meeting with parents/guardians to discuss your child’s history, your concerns, your goals, the type and duration of assessment or intervention, and any other questions regarding the assessment and therapy process.

  • Reviewing client history and past reports.

  • We will discuss the service agreement, fees and policies.

  • Your intake meeting will be by appointment - in person, over the phone or via video call.

 

Assessment - 45 to 150 minutes
  • Assessments are planned according to your child's and family's needs.

  • An assessment may include: formal or informal assessment with your child, family or teachers, observation in daily activities, provision of summary report or detailed recommendations, 20 to 30 minute feedback session.  

 

Screening - 30 minutes
  • A screening may be offered if you are unsure of your child's needs. This can help determine whether a more detailed evaluation is recommended. We will meet with you and your child to for a combination of informal observation and more formal assessments. 

  • A short summary of observations and recommendations will be provided. 

 

Intervention - 30 to 60 minutes
  • Intervention sessions will be range from 30 to 60 minutes. 

  • This session time is used for direct intervention, carer training, and consultation with family (or school if school based).
