CWB for Schools

Communicate without Borders partners with schools to provide flexible, sustainable solutions.

Please contact us to discuss how we could work together.

Short Term Assessment and Programme Planning

For schools who do not have access to ongoing speech and language support or perhaps need help reducing waitlist times, CWB provides individual assessment and recommendations for students. This can be accompanied by a range of additional services including:

  • Development of intervention programmes.

  • Collaborating with the teachers to develop sustainable classroom strategies.

  • Training a key worker to implement programmes.

  • Follow up Zoom or on-site support meetings depending on location.

  • Creating communication friendly classrooms.

Customised training solutions

We can provide a range of training programmes for school staff, ranging from one hour to half day workshops. Some example training workshops include:

  • Multilingual literacy development

  • Language disorder and multilingualism

  • Multilingual students with language disorders – how can we help?

  • Language and Literacy

  • Speech and Literacy

  • Language and the Early in Years

  • Using signs in the Early Years classroom

  • Cued articulation

  • Attention, Working Memory and Language – how they interact and classroom considerations

We develop customised training programmes based on staff needs. We will provide you with a questionnaire to share with your staff members to help determine the areas in which they would most like to have training.
